The Polk Audio Monitor 30 2-way Bookshelf Speaker is a quality-built yet affordable, high-performance loudspeaker for music and home theater. The Polk Monitor 30 provides open, spacious and clear audio even when driven by modestly-powered amplifiers and receivers, and is voice matched for lifelike surround-sound environments. This monitor boasts a stylish look that complements today's flat screen technology, with a fashionable cherry finish, and built-in keyhole wall mounting brackets for strong, secure on-wall mounting with no added brackets to buy. The Polk Monitor 30 utilizes a one-inch silk and polymer-composite dynamic-balance dome tweeter with a powerful neodymium magnet structure that delivers a clear and detailed high frequency response for realistic reproduction of vocals and instruments, as well as a 5.25-inch bi-laminate composite dynamic-balance driver that is lightweight and stiff with good dampening for high efficiency, excellent bass and lower distortion. This unit's non-resonant all-MDF enclosure construction with 0.75-inch-thick baffles ensures cleaner and more lifelike sound quality. The Monitor 30 features crossovers that use Mylar bypass capacitors for more detailed high frequencies, five-way binding-post connectors for more secure hook-up options and bi-wiring and bi-amping flexibility, and magnetic shielding for safe placement on or near TVs and video monitors without causing video distortion. This unit includes a critically-tuned flared port that minimizes port noise for good low-frequency extension with minimal distortion, resulting in natural, full-bodied and rich-bass sound. Built for speed, sound and value, the Polk Monitor 30 is a great introduction to high-performance sound.

Polk Monitor 30 has great potenial and big business on the closing price (replaced by TSi series is almost identical). A shelf depth, both out of twelve inches from front to back when placed on a wall, and also offers a low altitude range. Fits well with Polk CS1 or CS10 Center channel speaker surround sound systems as a front and surround, or be combined with the largest library in M40, M50 and M60 and towers as a surround speaker. Must be able to overcome most of the speaker systems for satellite, but that protrude from the wall when she's hanging bracket. At the opposite end of the bracket, short legs to keep the speaker equidistant from the wall and let the tailgate down. For two Polk Monitor / TSi bookshelf and center channel speakers provide sufficient levels low (55Hz), offers greater flexibility when used with a subwoofer to the satellite speakers small subwoofer crossover can be less than allowing the diver to handle the low frequencies in more detail. Each intersection with a satellite speaker in general should not, however, lower than the area of 120 150 Hz, which is the highest in the most subwoofers, the M30 can be easily adjusted to the area 60-80Hz. Of course, the size of the additional speakers can take more power and produce a greater volume than the satellites, as well. However, for the channel before using the monitor has its limits. For medium sized rooms monitor 30 is a bit 'small as a first channel and clearly lacking in detail down regardless of the size of the room. We use the library as more mid / woofer driver or at least two 5-inch drivers (one tweeter and) able to produce some more details and volume at low frequencies. However, you should spend at least $ 300 for a pair to match the brightness and quality of design Monitor 30 The other option is to buy the monitor $ 100 and another $ 100-200 to spend an additional subwoofer be more widespread than the bookshelves. I use four monitors 30 as rear channel surround sound and a very spacious room (vaulted ceilings and 16x24) with Polk Monitor 60 towers at the front and CS1. Although 30 years have been much closer to the listener than the fronts, the levels must be adjusted a few decibels louder for the surround effects really stop. To be fair, the front channel service eight 5.25 "drivers just 2-4 against drivers depending on 5.1 or 7.1 soundtrack. When listening to music, I prefer ProLogicIIX Dolby (7.1 surround), instead of two stereo channels to use. From 30 Monitor match so perfectly with the other speakers, the stage is open and less volume needed. Again, do not let the price fool you. Many priced speakers with the same size drivers only marginally better and sometimes worse Monitor The Dynaudio 52SE 30, for example, costs about $ 1,000, are produced when tested by Audioholic much lower base to reach the soil by a lack of internal reinforcement and general driver design. At the given time for burglary, in some cases is matched with the other speakers, and tuned with the latest A / V receiver, 30 to be a very solid performer to be. 24 of 25 people found this review helpful. Large bookcases By LoveMyToys I have the Monitor 30 has been almost one year now and I am incredibly impressed. Big bang for the buck (paid $ 140 on sale at CC). I use them as fronts in my 7.1 surround set with Polk M10 as surrounds and a Pioneer VSX-1018 AVR 40S2010 Sony LCD. I am still a mess JVC HTIB 60watt powered sub, but I'm planning on treating myself to a Avs123 X-sub for Christmas. :) Anyway, I'm here to discuss Polk M30 My organization advocates a 15'x17'den. This is a pretty small room and I have a.
